Induction Cooker

Induction Cooker Electromagnetism is the idea behind the functioning of an induction cooker. A coil of copper wire is placed under the surface and electric current is passed through it. There is an area of electromagnetic field that heats up the utensil kept on it. It is safer to use and saves less energy as compared to gas or electric cooking.

The eddy current flowing heats the surface and the pot kept over it. It is a modern cooking tool and is being highly preferred by households for the energy and cost saving factor.

It is a machine that heats the cooking vessel kept on it by thermal conduction from a flame or an electrical heating element. To be used on induction cooker, the cooking vessel should be made up of ferromagnetic metal such as cast iron or stainless steel. Aluminum, copper or glass cookware will not be compatible with induction, until and unless they have a magnetic layer on the bottom.
